Most systems log an arrival and a departure, then leave it to HR and managers to check for lateness, incomplete clock-outs, shift changes, absences and overtime.
Atendo links every clock-in to a shift, a location and your company's rules. Clean work sessions pass through without intervention, while deviations, repeating patterns and issues that need a decision get pulled out of the pile of data.
You don't review every employee and every record. You resolve what actually needs attention.
Clock-in: mobile app (Android and iOS), terminal and card, QR, NFC, BLE or a GPS zone. Atendo prepares and hands off data for payroll — it does not calculate or pay wages.
Incomplete clock-out
Employee clocked in but never clocked out — review it while the details are still fresh
Repeating lateness
Third late arrival in two weeks — an HR case suggestion is waiting on a decision
Uncovered shift
A location doesn't have enough employees signed in for tomorrow morning
If HR chases incomplete clock-ins before every payroll run, if supervisors confirm exceptions over chat messages, and if leadership only learns where problems keep repeating at month-end, the system has digitized clocking in — but it hasn't taken over the process.
The difference isn't how the employee clocks in — it's how much work the system takes on after that.
Operational calm means nothing important gets lost among thousands of clean clock-ins, a spreadsheet, a chat message, or a manager's memory. A normal work session doesn't ask for anyone's attention.
Instead of HR finding it weeks later, the incomplete session gets flagged for review while the employee and manager still remember what happened.
A single late arrival can be a one-off. When the pattern repeats against a company-defined criterion, Atendo can suggest an HR case — HR decides whether to accept, dismiss or assign it.
A single overtime hour just enters the record. When overtime concentrates around the same employee, team or location, the responsible person gets the context to find the cause.
A staffing plan only has value once it's compared against the people actually available. Atendo helps surface where a shift, site or team risks being short-staffed.
Central HR doesn't have to forward every deviation by hand. Rights and responsibilities are set so a manager sees exactly what belongs to their employees, sites or region.
When a manager wants to know where lateness keeps repeating, who's accumulating overtime, or which locations have the most deviations, they shouldn't have to build that answer by manually filtering and merging spreadsheets.
An authorized user can ask the Atendo AI assistant a question and get a summary based on data they're already permitted to access. The system finds and suggests. The responsible person decides.

The mobile app, a terminal, a card, QR, NFC, BLE or a GPS zone are all entry points into the same system. Different teams don't have to use the same device.
Clean clock-ins, breaks and clock-outs don't wait for manual confirmation. Incomplete and unusual situations get flagged according to the active rules.
An employee can add an explanation, a manager can review an operational exception, HR can decide on a case, and leadership can track aggregated trends.
At the end of the period, payroll doesn't start by re-investigating every clock-in. HR and payroll get organized data on hours, shifts, absences and completed corrections.
Clocking in is an event. Reliable time tracking is a process that only ends once the data is ready for a decision and for payroll.
HR doesn't need to open every record to find the error. They get a unified log, flagged deviations, repeating patterns and a controlled trail of corrections.
A manager sees their team's attendance and the situations that need a response. They don't check every employee all day long or manually put together a report for head office.
Regular, night and overtime hours, breaks, absences and other categories can be checked before period close and exported in an agreed format.
Instead of a list of individual clock-ins, leadership gets a comparable view by location, team and period: where lateness, overtime or coverage risk are rising.
Employees use the clock-in method that fits their job, see their own data, and can add a reason for a deviation in time. Fewer situations get resolved later, from memory.
Atendo doesn't try to force a field worker, a production employee and an office team into the same clock-in method. The method is chosen to fit working conditions, while the record stays unified.

The Android and iOS app is built for both office and field employees. The way presence is confirmed adapts to the rules and conditions at the workplace.
Terminals are built for locations where employees don't use a phone to clock in. Data from every approved device is unified inside Atendo.
One location can use a terminal, another the mobile app, and a field team GPS confirmation. For HR, managers and payroll, it's still a single record.
The most expensive mistake in time tracking usually isn't a wrong clock-in — it's discovering it once payroll is already waiting. Atendo helps surface incomplete and disputed records earlier.
Data can be exported to Excel or CSV. API integration with an ERP, HRIS or payroll system is defined based on the existing process and the technical capabilities of the system Atendo connects to. Atendo prepares and hands off data for payroll — it is not a program that calculates and pays wages on its own.

You can start with a single location or a clearly defined employee group. Before starting, we establish:
If you already use terminals or cards, their compatibility gets checked. The goal isn't to discard working infrastructure — it's to remove the manual work that's left over after the data is collected.

You're not just paying for the existing app. You're also paying the people who finish its job.
Atendo is especially built for companies that have:
If you have a small team, a single location, simple working hours and almost no corrections, a well-organized spreadsheet or a basic app may be enough. Atendo makes sense once clocking in is already digital but control still isn't.
Atendo in practice
You can use Atendo free for 30 days, with our team's support in setting up rules and creating user accounts. Before starting, we agree on the number of employees, the locations and the features included in the free period. The 30-day free period starts on the agreed start date, after the initial system setup.
There is no automatic billing. After 30 days, you decide whether to continue, based on an offer you accept. Terminals, terminal installation and integration development are not included in the free offer; any costs are agreed in advance.
If your existing app just logs clock-ins and produces a report, HR and managers still have to find, interpret and resolve deviations themselves. Atendo links every event to a shift and to your rules, surfaces situations that need attention, and routes responsibility to the right role.
Not necessarily. Compatibility depends on the manufacturer, model and data exchange method. Existing equipment is checked before implementation to determine what can stay in use.
No. The system can recognize a deviation or a pattern and suggest a next step, but decisions about corrections, HR cases or any other action are made by an authorized person.
Yes. Different locations and employee groups can use the mobile app, terminals, cards or other approved methods. The data is unified into the same record.
Yes. Rules can be set company-wide or adapted to a location, department, position or employee group.
Yes. The system is built for office, shift, field and mixed teams. The clock-in method and rules are configured to match how the work is organized.
No. Atendo does not collect or track an employee's location outside an active work session. Location confirmation is only used when it's part of the clock-in rules, within the approved tracking process.
Data can be exported to Excel or CSV. API integration with a payroll, ERP or HRIS system is defined based on that system's technical capabilities.
You don't have to start with the whole company. You can pick a single location or employee group, define the basic rules, and measure the result under real conditions.
In 20–30 minutes, we walk through the path from an employee clocking in to payroll-ready data, and assess whether Atendo can remove enough manual work to make the change worth it.
